Accidental kaleidoscope effect

I am currently focusing on the development of a screen with pattern being the main focus along with the development of the shape.
The shape will be determined by the pattern, as starting point for my inspiration i chose to focus on exotic flowers.
Due to my style of abstracting forms i have created a few patterns. these are rough ideas that need further development.
London Olympics

Currently looking at the forms created by gymnastic performers and came across this photograph taken in the London Olympics. It’s just amazing the shapes they are able to create with their bodies.
I can see this photograph being developed into an item of kitchenware, knives forks, handles etc.
1950’s advertisement

This image makes me think outside the box.
I wonder how big you can make an object before it becomes no longer functional for its original purpose.
1950’s car inspiration

Really like this image. To me the exhaust and lighting together looks like a shocked face.
Gives me ideas towards childrens toys/objects or even storage they could interact with.
